OUR JOURNEY
Early 2016, Bhushan Shirude and Sandeep Shirude, joined to start Medlife Foundation with the goal of providing affordable healthcare services, medical facilities, menstrual education, child development, women empowerment and promoting social entrepreneurship to those in need, regardless of their background.
The motto that inspired their mission is “One Help can Change Many Lives.” They sincerely believe that the youth have the power to create positive change through innovation and effort. Over the years, our wide range of successful initiatives demonstrate our dedication to improve peoples’ lives. We have expanded our services into many other domains including environment protection, sports development and sanitation. At Medlife Foundation, we feel fulfilled to realize that- one help can change many lives.
ABOUT US
Medlife Foundation is a Non-Governmental Organization registered under the Bombay Public Trust Act 1950 and the 80G of the Income Tax Act 1961. It was formed on 4th February 2016 on a mission to ensure the empowerment and development of under-served people in our country. We aspire to design innovative social development programs and implement them effectively with cooperation and collaboration from socially responsible corporates and business entities. Our work is in synergy with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It is spread across multiple domains, including health and sanitation, education and livelihood, women and child development, rural development, sports for development, and environmental protection.
Our spread of work consists of providing exposure to people from underprivileged sections of Maharashtra to innovative and sustainable solutions for healthcare services. Our efforts and activities include developing sustainable menstruation cups, conducting preventive health check-up camps, blood donation drives, school educational seminars, marathon runs, cancer awareness and other health-check programs, CSR seminars, tree plantation campaigns, women’s forums, rural education camps, and online educational webinars about various topics such as menstrual hygiene, eco-friendly menstruation, AIDS awareness, and Yoga. We have covered multiple districts across the state of Maharashtra.
The Youth can transform our country with their new ideas and skills. Whether rich or poor, the next generation has the power to change this world for the better.The broad spectrum of our activities and their success rate speak about dedicated work done by Medlife Foundation.
OUR JOURNEY STARTED
2021
Launched our design and trademark for the Make in India initiative and patented our product MEDFEM Menstrual Cup in India
2020
Initiated a new enterprise, MEDFEM, with the idea of promoting Sustainable Menstruation with the help of the MEDFEM MENSTRUAL CUPS and REUSABLE PADS.
2018
As per the mission, initiated work on Sustainable Menstruation and Healthcare, Women Empowerment, Child Development & Environment.
2017
Medlife foundation started working on Sustainable Healthcare & Women Empowerment.
2016
Medlife Foundation was registered.
2012
Initiated the Social Activities to establish Medlife Foundation.
